重機好き大興奮！ショベルカーのテーマパークがあるらしい

油圧ショベルにブルドーザー、ミキサー車、クレーン車、ロードローラー… 男の子なら、一度はこうした重機の操縦を夢見たことがあるのではないでしょうか？ミニカーを集めた人もきっと多いはず。

↑重機ファンの少年のコレクション！みんなもきっと持っていたはず。

さて、そんな幼き日の夢をかなえられるテーマパークが、イギリスにあります。その名も「ディガーランド」。「ディガー」とは、油圧ショベルのことだそうです。

重機の免許がなくとも、ホンモノを操縦できるというこちらのパークでは、重機を改造したアトラクションもあって、パーク内はまさに遊園地のような雰囲気。イングランドのヨークシャー、ケント、ダーラム、デボンにあり、いずれも大人気なのだとか。アメリカにも進出したそうです。なお、イギリスの料金は65歳までの成人と子供90センチメートル以上は£19.95、それ以下の子供は無料で楽しめるそうです。
